Over the next week or two Congress will be debating whether to repeal the recent healthcare reform legislation that is still in its infancy. Whatever Congress decides, the reform initiative is doomed to fail because it is not really healthcare reform, it is healthcare insurance reform. In recent weeks major health insurance players have begun announcing massive rate increases. How many 30, 40, or 50 percent health insurance rate increases do the American people need to see before they accept the fact that health insurance is the problem with healthcare in the U.S., not the solution?
